The sexual deception and betrayal were not within your control. But you can choose recovery.

What’s The Process?

When you seek Rhian’s help as a betrayed partner, you’ll receive the care and support you deserve.

You’ll be invited to participate in Rhian’s structured, therapetic program, Recovery Compass, which provides psycho-education, nervous system support tools and exercises for your recovery and healing.

There is the option to work through the program at your own pace, or to participate in a small therapeutic process group alongside other women going through a parallel experience of sexual deception and betrayal.

Whichever option you choose, you’ll have the opportunity to ask Rhian your specific questions so that you’re fully supported.

Rhian still offers a very limited amount of 1:1 help to women who are program members, but there may be a waiting list for availability.

Everything in the program is designed to be applied to your circumstances, relationship history, family situation and other factors that may influence your choices and direction.

You may have decided to stay with your partner, or you may not yet be certain about whether you can continue the relationship. Alternatively you may be separated or getting divorced. Whatever your situation, Rhian can help you recover.

Rhian’s stance is partner-centric and grounded in the principles of restorative justice.

Her approach is shaped by her wealth of experience supporting betrayed partners and couples, and informed by the Deceptive Sexuality and Trauma clinical model by Dr Omar Minwalla, of the Institute Of Sexual Health.

Process group calls take place within the UK time zone, however clients can participate from wherever they are in the world.

Take action now to move beyond the pain and trauma of sexual deception and betrayal and come home to yourself.

When you first discover your partner’s sexual behaviours, it can feel as though your entire world has shattered in an instant. But how you cope with that shock and pain, however, can vary greatly from one person to another:

Perhaps you’ve gone into survival mode – numbing yourself, pushing through, and carrying on with your daily responsibilities, whether it’s managing work or caring for your children.

Or maybe you’ve been overwhelmed, swept away by waves of grief, shifting from anger to sadness and back again as you struggle to hold it all together.

It’s also possible that you’ve been in both places, getting through each day, yet surrendering to your distress once the curtains are closed at night.

If you’ve come to realise that you’ve lost sight of who you were before the betrayal, you owe it to yourself to heal. It’s time to make an important choice – to refuse to let this experience define you.

It’s time to return home to yourself and rebuild your life, one step at a time, whether you stay or go.
